*A Posse wine club selection for March* Returning after last vintage's sell out, our Pinot Blanc is a unique and treasured Valley find. Sought after for its bright, floral aromas and flavors of stone fruit and silky honey, this medium-bodied white wine is a great pick for pairing with brunch and food in general.
Classic Chardonnay, through and through, this is another award-winning vintage from Nils Venge. With all the flavor you'd expect from Napa Valley, this Chardonnay balances a bright acidity and lighter body with epic roundness and a smooth, crisp finish.
SINGLE-VINEYARD CHARDONNAY. This age-worthy "collectors' Chardonnay" hails from the small, cherished Sangiacomo Vineyard not far from the town square in Sonoma in the Carneros District in the cool south end of Napa & Sonoma valleys. Acquired by Nils with our faithful Posse wine club shipments in mind, and produced with the utmost attention, this full-bodied Chardonnay is a perfect companion for those special occasions and the Chardonnay connoisseur.
Uniquely Saddleback, this Oakville-grown Pinot Grigio is distinctive and a rare find indeed. Planted on the property in 1995, the fruit from these treasured vines produces a delightful white wine full of character, thanks to a careful harvest at the peak of ripeness and neutral-oak barrel aging.
Our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc pops with aromas of citrus blossom and flavors of tart apple and peach, all delivered with a satin-y smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and light, neutral oak barreling lends a round finish. Delightful!
Rated 91 Pts, Wine Spectator
Vermentino is a light-skinned varietal found primarily in Italy, noted for its dry, crisp mouthfeel and appealing floral notes. Our New World version is grown in the sunny but cooler sub-appellation of Carneros, on the Napa Valley side.
