By selecting the best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2006 vintage along with some serious blending considerations, we are happy to announce that the party was put into the bottle in December of 2008. We’ve furthered the celebration by naming the wine “Nils” to honor his great dedication to fine winemaking. We had a blast with it! Yep, that’s Nils pictured on the label. He hasn’t grown up one bit!
The wine has a tremendous nose of dark fruit, highlighted by black currants. Hand selected new French Oak barrels provide a complementary toastiness. With a medium-plus body and a fine acid/tannin balance, this one is a classic! Recommended to drink from 2009-2020.

2017: This gorgeous wine presents as one of the best food Cabernets: pair with sauced, composed dishes by romantic candlelight, as well as charred backyard barbecue. It's delicate balance is pleasing to a wide variety of palates.
