2020 Zinfandel

Now releasing our 28th vintage! The quality of the Zinfandel fruit comes from the mature, deeper roots accessing underground aquifers in the dry-farmed, Frediani vineyard. The warm district of Calistoga, where the vineyard grows, promotes the old vine’s roots to ripen earlier, so there is less chance of scorch due to excessive summer heat. On the nose you’ll find aromas of roses, teak, and ground pepper. The soft but full palate, allows for tastes of blackberry compote, tobacco, espresso and thyme.
