2018 Petit Verdot, Carneros Napa Valley

Now released to the public. Sourced from the Napa Valley side of the Los Carneros region on the southern end of the valley, Nils only made 122 cases of this popular varietal. This rich red wine shows classic inky density in the glass, typical to the varietal. More typical to Nils’ winemaking, this is a friendly Petit Verdot: a big Napa red with a creamy texture and lush, fruit-forward cooked berries midpalate, balanced by a bright minerality and tannin on the finish. This is a fantastic Friday night fireside sipper that’s not too big to bring to dinner.
