2019 Three T's

A unique blend that only Saddleback could perfect! Composed of three hot weather loving grapes; this masculine, no-holds barred red delivers a brisk nose of flint, pipe tobacco and dried lavender. On the first taste, it grips the back pallet, but quickly softens to flavors of espresso, elderberry and fresh cracked walnuts. Each varietal adds its own characteristic: Tannat - dark tannins with brambleberry and coffee notes; Teroldego - dark and dense, with light sweet notes; and, of course, Tempranillo - spice rounds it all out with hints of cardamom, thyme and tobacco.
