End of Vintage Sale!!
Late Harvest Chardonnay dessert wine, with a character similar to Sauternes. Limited supplies remain.
"Douce noir," or "sweet black" is the Italian name for this varietal and that moniker is quite apt! A gorgeous sanguine in color, this cult classic is quite masculine in its body, with an abundance of anise and black cherry in its broad palate. Sourced from the warmer Napa Valley climes of Calistoga, Charbono is nicely paired with charred meats, which stands to reason why Argentinians are the other notable country to grow it.
Here is a rare, prized find from a hillside in Yountville out of the Mello Vineyard: perfectly handcrafted 100% Napa Valley Malbec.
