1995 Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc
The 1995 vintage is from the Carneros, Napa and St. Helena. We find essences of melon and citrus notes in this unique varietal. Our Pinot Blanc is always dry, full-bodied and balanced with good acidity for aging. The rich yellow color and smooth, creamy finish are notable and due primarily to barrel fermentation and extended contact with the lees. The complex tropical fruit flavors complimented by a touch of oak make this wine user-friendly, but big enough to stand up to hearty, complex foods such as spicy Thai or Indonesian cuisine. 885 cases bottled.
Cost: US$ 12.00 each, US$ 129.60 per case of 12

Better than most Chardonnay wanna-be's! Lush and vibrant with well focused tropical fruit, toasted nuts and vanilla aromas and flavors. Wonderfully complex and well balanced for such an unassuming wine. Good weight and acidity make this a joy from beginning to end.

Deep yellow with beige tone. Moderately full-bodied. Full acidity. Moderately extracted. Moderately oaked. Nuts, apricots, vanilla. A distinctive style, with good fruit showing through an exceedingly firm structure...
