1989 Cabernet Sauvignon
Aged for up to two years in French Nevers and American oak
barrels, this 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon is made in the traditional
Bordeaux style. It is rendolent with cedar, cigar, and currants in the nose,
transitioning to rich plums, currants, and fresh fruit flavors on the palate.
Like a Claret, this older vintage has soft, spicy tannins with hints, of
vanilla and rustic fruit, adding complexity to this unusually enjoyable
Claret-style older vintage.
